Brown Leather & Hardwood Claw & Ball Dining Chairs, Set of 6

We are delighted to offer this stunning suite of six fully restored early Victorian circa 1840 mahogany framed brown leather dining chairs These are a very fine, highly decorative and extremely comfortable suite of chairs, the seat bases are traditional coil sprung, the leather English cattle hide, finished with antiqued studs. The legs are elegant cabriolet finished with expertly carved claw & balls These are late Georgian to early Victorian examples, I would say circa 1840, they are superb examples, the frames have a wonderful weight to them They have been fully restored to include having the leather stripped back and hand dyed this deep cigar brown colour, the legs have been washed back stained and French polished.
