The legs are elegant cabriolet finished with expertly carved claw & balls These are late Georgian to early Victorian examples, I would say circa 1840, they are superb examples, the frames have a wonderful weight to them They have been fully restored to include having the leather stripped back and hand dyed this deep cigar brown colour, the legs have been washed back stained and French polished. There will be some age and use related patina marks to the timber, there is one small repair to a back panel of leather, mostly they are in very Fine order indeed Dimensions: Height 100cm Width 61cm Depth 64cm Seat height 50cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
