A blue and white Dutch tile with a decoration of a Dutch or Spanish soldier from the period of the 80 Years War.
The decoration of this tile is very detailed and we can beautifully see the details in his armor, face, rapier, and pike.
A fine shiny glaze makes this tile a real eye-catcher.
The scene is painted with French lilies (fleur de lis) as corner decoration.
The tile is in very good condition, with the normal superficial wear and small chips according to age.
