Ornate hand-carved 19th-century Italian wall mirror made in the baroque or rococo taste. The mirror features a thick double framed border decorated with an egg and dart style design on the outer frame. The inner frame has an acanthus and floral motif with an inner dot border around the glass. The glass mirror plate is a later added piece with gilt decoration. The mirror is very heavy and solid with an aged patina on the gilt finish and desirable wear with minor losses that commensurate age.
