Pair of 1972 dated “Phoenix Bookcases” legal library modular stacking bookcases in oak with glass sliding doors A very good looking well made pair of traditional English legal bookcases. These are modular meaning you can add a remove sections to make them taller or shorter. The doors are all glass and have recessed handles so they all slide without making any contact In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there are some patination marks to the sides on some of the sections which are discoloured, there will also been general patina marks from honest age and genuine use Dimensions: Height 175cm Width 91.5cm or 183cm the pair Depth 45.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
