Offering a remarkable Italian porcelain canister or cookie jar, circa 1960s. This amazing vessel is quite large and is designed to represent a large onion. When found at an estate in Sarasota, Florida, I could not pass this one up because of its one-of-kind design. Signed on bottom: Made in Italy.

This onion will certainly strike up a conversation at the dinner table for those special occasions. It is designed as a canister or container and It can hold over a gallon of liquid if used as a soup tureen, but please keep in mind there is NO slot for a serving spoon.
