The frame and armrests are made beautifully of turned and carved solid oak. Especially the armrests has a spectacular curved snakelike shape.
The old upholstery is made of a tightly woven greenish-brown wool mounted with brass nails.
Ear-flaps with a curved shape.
The fine natural surface and patina with a warm glow has slowly been added after years of daily use.
There may be some small stains or scratches which are basically only part of the furniture’s history.
