Vintage Design
This charming Scandinavian Modern armchair echoes the design of Hans Wegner’s famous Papa Bear chair as a smaller version. It is designed by Svend Skipper and produced in Denmark 1960s and features renewed orange red Kvadrat Fabric upholstery with button tufting and teak paws and legs. The most interesting and characteristing details of this armchair are the wooden ‘claws’ at the end of the armrest to prevent the sitter from soiling the fabric with its hands. Very comfortable and stylish and a perfect Highlight for every Scandinavian and Mid-Century Modern living room or library.
