Original Oil Painting on Paper Abstract Nude by Listed Artist Tammra Sigler, Signed and Dated ’66

A fabulous early work by listed American artist Tammra Sigler. This is an abstract nude figure painted in oils on paper. It is very skillfully executed using very measured strokes and a pleasing and decorative colour palette. The piece is signed ‘Tammra Sigler’ and is dated ’66 making it one of the very earliest works by the artist we can find. The artist’s work from the 60s-80s is very keenly collected.

There is a label on the back of the piece from the Baltimore Museum of Art.

The piece is matted and framed in a simple teak wood frame behind glass.

The piece itself is in very good condition with no noticeable wear or damage. The matting has a some minor foxing stains and some minor rippling. The teak frame is in good condition with minor dings.

Including frame, the piece measures approximately 25ʺW × 1ʺD × 31ʺH
