This is a Talavera Majolica large amphora/ urn vase. It is hand painted in the belly with a scene of a country background with a musketeer riding a horse in one side and a country church or monastery in the other one. The neck is hand painted with a bird that is flying in one side and a deer that is running in the other one. Royal blue, yellow and green colors predominate the decoration. The handles depict some painted royal blue scrolls and faces. Below the base, it is found the Talavera mark, a number and España.
