Designed c. 1960/61 by Grete Jalk, a Danish designer who had a lot of feeling for the pure and filigree form without frippery, solid teak wood

On the base, you can clearly see the visible brass inlays (screw threads for the frame screws), which were intentionally embedded in the wood as a design recognition effect.
