Elegant Biedermeier Console Table from South Germany About 1820. Concave Base Veneered in Cherrywood in with Mirror Glass in the Back. The Plate is Cherry Solid Wood with Ebonized Parts and Ink Line Running CircumFerentialy Around the Edges. All the wood is hand-polished with shellac (French Polish). It has Two Black Half- and Two Black Full-Columns with Gold-Painted Capitels and Bases., This is an elegant Biedermeier console with a strong concave floor/base. It has two black half and two black full columns with gold-made capitals and bases. The plate is made of solid cherry wood with ebonized parts and all -round inklines on the edges. The floor is veneered in cherry wood. On the back there is mirror glass.
