French Fruitwood Kitchen Cupboard, 1820s

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely circa 1820 original French antique pot cupboard One of the best things I’ve seen all year, a 200+ year old period French country farmhouse pot cupboard. The cupboard comes with the original key which does work on the right day! The piece is solid Fruitwood which has a sublime patination. The timber is simply glorious In terms of the condition really this piece is all about the age look and feel so there is plenty of patina but it all adds to the charm and charisma. We have treated it three times with worm treatment to be on the safe side as there was some very old signs, the timber has then all been cleaned waxed and polished from top to bottom.
