Empire Style Coffee Table Lacquer Speckled by Ira Yeager

Whimsical French empire style coffee cocktail table lacquer speckled by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The oval table features a two-tier design with dramatic eagle’s head legs decorated with an acanthus leaf ending with paw feet. The table is lacquered in a festive mustard yellow over a black ground. Appears to have a later added oval top with a made in Mexico stamp on the bottom. Ira decorated his gallery with French style pieces of furniture to display along side his artwork. From the Ira Yeager estate in Calistoga, CA.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Additions or alterations made to the original: Paint touch-ups. Lacquer painted by artist with touched up areas on top that do not perfectly match. Appears to have a later added top when viewed from underneath. Age appropriate wear with minor chips and scratches.
