Vintage Design
The DIPLOMAT furniture series from 1961 shows Finn Juhl’s already experienced mastery in form, function and workmanship during this time. The rectangular, milled fields in the cross connectors give the furniture structure and a graceful shape. The DIPLOMAT armchair is surprisingly comfortable, as Finn Juhl was able to make the seat flat with the wave springs and the backrest flexible with the steel joint.
with few signs of wear. The teak only needed a slight refresh, as well as cleaning and maintenance of the cover. The high-quality armchair is already in good original condition. The manufacturer’s mark can be found on the front cross member below.
Solid teak hardwood frame with wave spring upholstery and leatherette cover in the seat, springy back, covered. Black synthetic leather, original cover.
