Carved in French limestone, c 1700’s.
Provenance: The Danish author Karen Branson 1875-1936, One of two carved loins that flanked the main entrance the her house called “Solgården”
located close to Strøbyegede, Denmark.
Today only the park belong to the house is left
House has been torn down.
Only some stone Eagles are left in the Park where the house once was.
The eagles was once place on the roof on each corner of the house.
