Baroque commode, Switzerland 18th century. This unique Baroque commode dates back to circa 1750-1760 and comes from Switzerland. The three-drawer commode is embellished with walnut veneer and additional hand carved decorations on front, sides and feet. The veneer decoration on the top of this beautiful piece might have been replaced later, it has a walnut veneer with geometric design inlays in yew tree. The bronze fittings are original.
