This pair of Regal Armorial Lions have opposing stances and are stamped ” GOUTTES A CASTELNAUDARY “. Each of the Terracotta Lions have exceptional details in there sculptured muzzle, mane, paws, and tail. The Imposing Lions are seated on their haunches with one forepaw atop of an Armorial Cartouche. The top of each Lions ear has a hole to place a Standard or Flag of the Nobles or Aristocrats when in Residence. Would be prefect in a grand entrance or formal garden.
