19th Century French Gold Enamel and Pearl Tassel Earrings, 2 Pieces

The craftsmanship on these 19th century French tassel earrings is truly superb!

Each piece represents a delicate, gloved, articulated hand, in brushed gold, with black enamel detail and a pearl ring, holding a hoop of tassels embellished with several seed pearls.

The earrings are 18k gold, with seed pearls and black enamel.

Together, they weigh 8.4 grams and measure 2 inches, from the top of the earring wire to the longest tassel. They are 0.5 ” at their widest point.

In excellent antique condition, except for one piece of the last tassel missing on one earring, and hardly noticeable losses to the enamel (see pictures).

A truly unique piece!
