Superb Antique hand-carved stone Garden Statue or Sculpture of a Praying Angel from the 19th Century. Possible salvaged from an old historic St. Louis Church, Park or Garden. Purchased from the estate of well known Architectural Salvage dealer in St. Louis. Beautiful aging with weathering and patina of moss and other elements. It is missing a small tip to the angels right wing, as seen in photos. Carved from single block of stone, by unknown master. No repairs , some loss around base.
