The Classic Furniture Craftsmanship of Bovolone
The revealing points of the artisanal activity of Classic Furniture are the signs of “Furniture in style” – “Lacquering” – “Polishing” – “Restoration of antique furniture” – “Antiquities and Restoration” – “Art furniture” placed above the exhibitions and artisan workshops.
The School of Cabinetmaking, C.F.P., guarantees training and quality. Professional Training Centre, managed by the Province of Verona, the only one in the Veneto Region. It prepares future craftsmen, “cabinet makers”, in the art of woodworking: lacquering, gilding, carving, inlay and restoration, technical drawing.
In Bovolone, “City of Classic Furniture”, the house can be completely furnished: from furnishings to artistic windows, from wrought iron to doors and windows. The exhibitions are full of fine furniture and can always be visited by appointment, even on holidays.
The “Museum of furniture styles” from the 15th to the 20th century has been set up in the Bishop’s Cellars located in the Bishop’s Palace. It is a link with the past, the continuity of tradition, the history of the school of cabinet making and of the amanuensis activity of the craftsman and his workshop.
