20th Century Italian Silver Baroque Revival Table Mirror, Velvet Back

This Italian Baroque style mirror has a shaped silver frame that is embossed and chiseled. Certain central details were lightly hammered out in order to create a contrast with the shiny surfaces of the swirls that distinguishes the Baroque style. The mirror glass was cut and ground to match the shape of the frame.
The mirror has been lacquered with antioxidant paint to preserve its brilliance and avoid cleaning with cleaning products

Italian silverware, already with a centuries-old tradition, had a great development in the twentieth century and produced pieces of the highest quality that the whole world envies. Italian craftsmanship had a kind of new Renaissance after the war.
A great many high-quality silverware was born where exceptional pieces were produced that now decorate the most prestigious houses.

Impressive table mirror in sterling silver completely handmade in the Baroque style.
The embossed workmanship is exceptional for its craftsmanship, precision and elegance.
In the upper part, between the scrolls and the flowers, the classic Baroque shell has been embossed.
In the extreme upper edge it is embossed and chiseled in depth to allow it to be hung on the wall without using inelegant hooks.
The back has a green velvet support to be placed on the table.
