A pair of 19th century Italian carved Baroque walnut ottoman/stools. These are done in the manner of Andrea Brustolon (1662 –1732), who was a Venetian carver best known for incorporating elaborate figural sculpture into his furniture. They were reupholstered in a taupe/gray toned glossy leather. This style of figural design is called grotesque.
