Vintage Design
Dining table designed by Umberto Mascagni of Bologna in the 1950s. The main body frame is made of European solid wood, covered in brown veined vinyl and anodized aluminum. The legs are also covered in black vinyl. Excellent vintage condition. This whimsical table is an interesting example of mid-century Italian design. In 1952, Umberto Mascagni created a new way to produce furniture using new materials such as PVC and anodized aluminum. This was provocative considering the market at the time. His furniture was sold at Harrods, London 1952-1955.
Six dining chairs are also available.
