Hand-crafted in Italy, likely Florence or Bologna, in the early 18th century, possibly 17th century, featuring handsome rich antique walnut color and warm tones, with nicely aged patina that adds to the sophisticated old world character, elegant rustic warmth and rich historical depth that can only be acquired over very long periods of time.
Large size and substantial proportions, having a rectangular plank top with molded edge, over frieze with carved dentil running ornamentation, three cabinet doors decorated in geometric motif, opening to reveal single large spacious compartment fitted with a later custom shelved interior, retaining the original hand forged iron fittings, rising on molded base.
